Finally! Summer has arrived!
Took a little trip out to Mont Saint-Hilaire with some Concordia Outdoors folks for a day hike. Hilaire is always a chill hike, and I got to play with the P6000 a little more this time. I can safely say that the GPS functionality, while cool, is more gimmick than anything else — it took over two minutes for the camera to get a lock while on the summit of a freaking mountain. Nothing in the way between the camera and the sky. Really?
That said, it is cool to have your photos automatically geotagged when you upload them to Flickr.
Otherwise, sorry to have been so quiet lately. I’ve been pretty busy with the outdoors club and with a new relationship. While I’m still pretty active on Twitter, I promise to be better about that whole blogging thing. Please don’t leave me!
